ToolsTask is a free website that offers a growing collection of practical, browser-based tools for everyday tasks. From health calculators and measurement converters to productivity utilities and an invoice generator, everything is designed to work instantly — no signup, no download, no accounts.
Every tool runs in your browser. Calculator and converter inputs are not sent to our servers. Some tools can save data in your browser's localStorage on your own device. The website uses Google Analytics to measure visits; the Contact page can send a message through Web3Forms. See the Privacy Policy.
Why ToolsTask Exists
Most online tools today require you to sign up, install an app, or navigate an ad-cluttered interface just to perform a simple calculation. We built ToolsTask to change that.
The idea is simple: you should be able to open a browser, search for a tool you need — say, a BMI calculator or a unit converter — and get a working answer in seconds. No signup is required to use a tool.
Every tool we build has to pass three tests before it goes live:
- Is it genuinely useful? — It solves a real problem someone has.
- Does it work instantly? — No signup, no install, no friction.
- Does it respect your privacy? — Tool inputs stay in your browser. We do not require an account to use a tool.
What's Available on ToolsTask
ToolsTask currently offers 50 tools across six categories:
Tool Categories
- General Tools — Text formatting, color palettes, URL shortening, and similar utilities.
- Essential Tools — Temperature conversion, to-do lists, password generation, timers, and dice rollers.
- Health & Fitness — BMI, BMR, body fat, water intake, calorie needs, ideal weight, and heart rate zone calculators.
- Measurement Converters — Length, weight, volume, area, time, speed, energy, and digital storage conversions.
- Productivity Tools — Percentage, discount, tip, interest, date difference, JSON formatter, Base64, word counter, Pomodoro timer, and more.
- Finance & Investment — EMI, loan, and SIP calculators for personal finance planning.
How We Build Our Tools
Every tool on ToolsTask is built with vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We avoid heavy application frameworks so the site stays fast and easy to inspect.
All tool calculations happen client-side, in your own browser. This means:
- Your results are instant — no waiting on server round-trips for a calculation.
- Your tool inputs are not sent to us as part of using a calculator or converter.
- Most tools still work after the page has loaded, even on a slower connection.
When a tool needs to remember something (like your theme preference or a saved invoice), it uses your browser's local storage — which stays on your device and is fully under your control.
The website itself uses Google Analytics to measure visits. The Contact page can send a message through Web3Forms. Those are described in our Privacy Policy.
Our Commitment to Privacy
Privacy is a core reason ToolsTask exists. We do not:
- Require accounts to use tools
- Store your calculator or converter inputs on our servers
- Sell your information
- Use fingerprinting libraries on our pages
